We conclude our day of prayer together and ask God's blessing. With Pastor Alice Bassett-Jellema and all people of good faith, we are called to walk, to serve, and to rest in God's love. Lift up your hands in the holy place and bless the LORD;* the Lord who made heaven and earth bless you out of Zion. As our day moves to evening we continue to remember the life and example of Pastor Alice Bassett-Jellema and we hold before God the souls of all the departed. O gracious light, pure brightness of the everliving Father in heaven. O Jesus Christ, holy and blessed! Today as we remember Pastor Alice Bassett-Jellema, who died on Nov 2, 2019, we will use the prayers she prepared for her beloved community to use throughout each day. May these be a comfort to you.
